Hawai'i Island Choreographers Concert celebrates established professional, emerging, student and youth choreographers from across the Big Island of Hawaii and beyond. Providing a platform for choreographic artists and dancers, the concert showcases an eclectic blend of dance forms, including unique creations such as a taiko drumming piece blended with contemporary dance, spoken word with movement interpretation, and a mother/daughter contemporary ballet duet with live music.
West Hawaii Dance Theatre is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit educational arts organization.
This event is supported in part by grant funding from the County of Hawai‘i, Kuk'io Ho'omana Fund, and the Haynes Family Fund.
