Kelly Stuart is a cellist based on the Big Island of Hawai’i. Her career has taken her around the world, performing for musical theatre, chamber ensembles, and as a solo artist. A founding member of the Elbe Ensemble (Dresden, Germany), Kelly was also the Artist-in-Residence for rural schools in South Monterey County, California, from 2014-2015. Kelly was also a frequent performer at the Forest Hill Concert Series in San Francisco and has appeared in the Berkeley Arts and Letters series as a featured soloist. Holding a Bachelor of Music from Boston University and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Southern Maine, Kelly currently performs with the Kamuela Philharmonic, the Hilo Community Players, and the trio 19th Parallel. She was also a nominee for the 2020 Pushcart Prize in Nonfiction.
