Kahilu is delighted to present WAIMEA COMMUNITY CHORUS—SING IN THE SEASON. Thirty years ago, Waimea Community Chorus formed in the fall of 1993, and has been under the direction of Barbara Kopra since 2005. This year the 50-voice chorus will “Sing in the Season” with songs of winter and holiday celebrations.
The repertoire is varied and includes familiar titles like “Winter Wonderland of Snow,” “I Love the Winter Weather,” and “Sleigh Ride” in the first half. After intermission the songs will pay tribute to the celebrations of Kwanzaa, Hanukkah and Christmas. Start your holiday season by joining us for a joyful afternoon of song!
This show is sponsored by: Paul Dahlquist, Duncan Dempster, Paul & Jan-Gee McCollam, and Tina Stuart
