Kahilu Theatre is bringing on the laughter with “Justine Smith & Friends Comedy Show.” Fresh off her L.A. tour where she did seven shows in four days, you know Justine will have something to say about it. Hosted by the incredibly talented Nikki Gour of the Wave at 92 FM, this show is guaranteed to tickle your funny bone. The show will also feature local comics: Katie Lynn, Megan Mahina, Morgan Gallo, Laura Reid, and the winner of the 2021 Big Islands Got Talent. This exclusive comedy night will take place live on Friday, June 25, 7pm HST.

Justine Smith is a comedian, writer, producer, promoter, and director living on the Big Island of Hawai’i. She started her comedy career in 2016, and began producing her own shows in 2017. She produces and performs in traditional stand-up comedy shows, as well as working as a traveling comic. Both playful and pointy, Justine brings her own ridiculous blend of anxiety, and raw emotion to the table. “When I’m talking about serious issues in my life that are difficult to deal with and can make it funny, it takes the power of the negativity away,” said Smith. “I feel the best way to get from a really dark spot to a really light spot is with laughter.”
