Kahilu Theatre is delighted to present the WAIMEA COMMUNITY CHORUS “ANOTHER RE-OPENING, ANOTHER SHOW” LIVE on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 7pm HST.

The Waimea Community Chorus will pay tribute to some of the musicals that have re-opened on Broadway after the devastating COVID shutdown. With so many shows to choose from, musical director Barbara Kopra has selected a wide range of tunes that will entice the audience to sing along:

– from long-standing shows (Chicago and Phantom of the Opera) to more
recent productions (Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen)
– from beautiful numbers like “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” (Lion King),
to bold numbers like “Backstage Romance” (Moulin Rouge)
– from gorgeous piano accompaniments like “Think of Me” (Phantom) to
brass ensembles like the medley from Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and
Times of The Temptations 
– from serious songs like “For Good” (Wicked) to playful songs like “Friend
Like Me” (Aladdin)
